Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to young children in a nurturing environment. This position requires a strong commitment to early childhood education and the ability to foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.

Duties

Plan and implement engaging educational activities that promote children's development across all areas of learning. Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for children to explore and learn. Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records to support their individual development plans. Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers, providing regular updates on their child's progress and well-being. Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure the smooth running of the nursery. Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the nursery space, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Support children in their daily routines, including meal times, personal hygiene, and transitions between activities. Previous experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting is essential. Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to engage with children, parents, and colleagues effectively. A valid driving licence is advantageous for potential off-site activities or excursions. A genuine passion for childcare and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment for young children.

Pay: 12.21-12.50 per hour
