As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in fostering a nurturing environment that promotes the development and well-being of every child in our care.
Duties
Provide attentive and responsive care to children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
Plan and implement engaging activities that support children's learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships and support children's individual needs.
Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records to inform planning and support their development.
Manage daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and play sessions, ensuring a structured yet flexible environment.
Work collaboratively with other staff members to create an inclusive atmosphere that encourages participation from all children.
Drive initiatives that promote health, safety, and hygiene within the nursery setting.
Experience
Previous experience in childcare or early childhood education is essential, with a strong understanding of child development principles.
Excellent communication skills in English are required to effectively engage with children, parents, and colleagues.
Leadership qualities are advantageous for those looking to take on additional responsibilities within the nursery team.
A genuine passion for working with children and the ability to manage diverse needs within a nursery setting is crucial.
