WMC Training is seeking a dedicated Nursery Practitioner to join the professional, rewarding, and supportive team at Tiny Oaks Day Nursery in Edenbridge, TN8.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the nursery and maintaining the delivery of high standards of care and education to all children.

The ideal candidate will bring previous experience as a nursery manager, a genuine interest in developing the talent of younger generations, and a strong desire to make a difference in children's lives.

Holding a Level 2 or higher qualification in childcare is a must.

You will be a collaborative team member, equally capable of taking initiative, and adept at planning enriching activities. As a dedicated key person, you will also have the rewarding responsibility of monitoring and supporting your own group of children.

DUTIES



Your duties as the Nursery Practitioner include:

Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues Experience working in a nursery or childcare setting Ability to manage and supervise groups of young children Proficiency in English language Valid driver's license for potential off-site activities Knowledge of Early Childhood Education principles Demonstrated leadership qualities in guiding and supporting children

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS



Minimum full and relevant Level 2 or level 3 Early Years qualification

Safer Recruitment training Paediatric First Aid Ability to write reports and keep clear and accurate records Ability to write clear objective observations Excellent knowledge of the current Early Years Inspection Framework and Welfare Requirements
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.50-13.00 per hour
