Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join our close knit team in Farnham.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a strong foundation in early childhood education. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for children, ensuring their safety, development, and well-being.

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in fostering children's growth through engaging activities and effective communication with both children and parents.

Responsibilities



Provide high-quality care and education to children in the nursery setting. Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development. Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their social, emotional, and physical development. Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to health and safety regulations. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and well-being. Manage daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and play activities. Collaborate with colleagues to create an inclusive atmosphere that supports all children's needs. Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance skills in early childhood education.

Experience



Proven experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is essential. A qualification in Early Childhood Education or Childcare is required, Level 2 or Level 3. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage groups of children effectively. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Ability to drive is advantageous for transportation purposes related to nursery activities. A genuine love for working with young children and a commitment to their development.
