Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow. Your ability to communicate effectively and manage various activities will be essential in fostering positive relationships with both children and their families.

Duties



Provide high-quality care and education for children aged 0-5 years in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. Plan and implement engaging activities that promote children's physical, emotional, social, and intellectual development. Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records to support their individual learning journeys. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, providing updates on their child's development and addressing any concerns. Manage daily routines, ensuring the safety and well-being of all children in your care. Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive team environment that supports professional growth and development. Lead by example, demonstrating best practices in childcare and early education.

Requirements



A recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent experience in childcare is essential. Previous experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting is highly desirable. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with children, parents, and colleagues. Ability to drive is advantageous for attending off-site activities or training sessions. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Demonstrated leadership qualities to inspire and guide fellow practitioners. A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their development through play-based learning experiences.

Pay: 12.21-12.50 per hour
