Job Summary

We are seeking a full time dedicated Nursery Practitioner to join our team, providing high-quality care and education to young children in a nurturing environment. We are an established busy, fun and happy setting in the heart of Whaley Bridge providing excellent childcare. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and the ability to effectively communicate with both children and parents. This role involves managing daily nursery activities and ensuring that each child's individual needs are met.

Duties

Plan and implement engaging educational activities that promote children's development in line with early years frameworks. Supervise and support children in their play, ensuring a safe and stimulating environment. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster positive relationships. Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records of their development. Manage behaviour by implementing appropriate strategies to encourage positive interactions. Drive initiatives that enhance the nursery's overall quality of care and education. Collaborate with team members to create a cohesive approach to childcare and education. Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the nursery setting, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

Relevant qualifications in Childcare ( Level 3 preferably). Previous experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting is essential. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their development. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also demonstrating initiative when required.
