Role Overview

We are seeking a passionate and qualified

Nursery Wraparound Care Practitioner

to join our team. This role involves supervising nursery-aged children (3-4 years) after school, planning engaging activities, assisting with snacks, and ensuring a safe, nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and care for children aged 3-4 during after-school wraparound sessions. Plan and facilitate age-appropriate activities that encourage development, creativity, and social skills. Assist with preparing and serving snacks. Maintain a safe, hygienic, and welcoming environment for all children. Observe and support individual children's needs, communicating effectively with parents when required. Work in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. Report to the Co-Founder regarding daily activities, incidents, or concerns.

Requirements

Early Years Qualification Level 3

(minimum). Previous experience in early years care or nursery settings is essential. Strong understanding of safeguarding, health & safety, and child development principles. Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. Enthusiasm, patience, and a positive, supportive attitude.
