Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our growing team at Leafield House!

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow.

Duties

Provide high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5 years, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Plan and implement engaging activities that promote learning through play, fostering children's development across all areas. Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development, communicating effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's achievements. Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive team environment, demonstrating strong leadership skills to support less experienced staff. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards in childcare practices, including health and safety protocols. Develop strong relationships with children, encouraging their social skills, independence, and self-esteem through positive interactions. Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge in early childhood education.

Qualifications

Relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Education or Childcare Level 3 or above. Previous nursery experience is highly desirable, along with proven experience working with children in a professional setting. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to engage with children, parents, and colleagues. A commitment to safeguarding children's welfare and promoting their development through quality care. Pay: From 12.60 per hour
