We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and education to young children in a nurturing environment. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will be responsible for fostering the development of children through engaging activities and ensuring their safety and well-being.
Duties
Provide attentive and responsive care to children, ensuring their individual needs are met.
Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for all children.
Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships.
Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records of their development.
Manage daily routines, including meal times, playtime, and rest periods.
Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a cohesive approach to childcare.
Uphold health and safety standards within the nursery setting.
Experience
Previous experience in childcare or early childhood education is essential.
Strong communication skills in English are required to interact effectively with children and families.
Leadership qualities are preferred to guide and support less experienced staff members.
A background in managing nursery operations or working with young children is advantageous.
A valid driving licence may be beneficial for transport-related duties or outings.

Qualifications
A recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent is essential.
Proven experience working with young children in a nursery or educational setting is highly desirable.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to engage with children and parents.
A genuine passion for childcare and early years education, with the drive to inspire young learners.
Knowledge of child development theories and best practices in early years education.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also demonstrating initiative.
