Teddy Bears Day Nursery is an 'Ofsted Outstanding Nursery' March 2023, situated in Hove close to Portslade Station. We are proud to be celebrating nearly 33 years of 'Fun-tastic' childcare!

Our priorities are the child's safety and happiness. Our small, friendly team of eight, fantastic staff, ensure quality childcare for children in a homely environment that allows the children to develop at their own pace, nurturing their skills and curiosity and encouraging them to reach their full potential.

We are looking for a Level 2 and Level 3 Nursery Practitioner with experience, lots of energy, and a passion and enthusiasm to work with our 0 - 3 years 'Little Teds', to support the children in creating a safe, happy, and stimulating environment.

The role requires good knowledge of child development, child protection and safeguarding; good literacy and good communication skills and computer / IT skills. Experience of Tapestry is desirable as is the ability to build and develop good working relations with parents, staff, and other service providers.

Duties will include supporting a key group of children; working with the Early YearsFoundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum; delivering high quality care and providing experiences, interactions and activities for children; observing, assessing and planning to ensure that all children gain the knowledge and skills required for the next stage of their learning.
