We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow. Your ability to communicate effectively and manage young learners will be essential in fostering their development and well-being.
Duties
Provide high-quality childcare and early education to children aged 0-5 years.
Plan and implement engaging activities that promote learning through play.
Observe and assess children's development, ensuring individual needs are met.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organised nursery environment.
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and any concerns.
Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive team atmosphere.
Lead by example, demonstrating positive behaviour and encouraging children to do the same.
Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations.
Qualifications
Experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is essential.
A qualification in Early Childhood Education or Childcare is highly desirable.
Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
Ability to manage groups of children effectively while maintaining a positive atmosphere.
Leadership qualities that inspire confidence in both children and colleagues.
A genuine passion for nurturing children's development through play-based learning.
A valid driving licence is advantageous but not mandatory.
