Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to work for an established nursery. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners, ensuring their safety and well-being while promoting their development through engaging activities.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality care and education to children in the nursery setting. Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster a supportive community. Manage daily routines, ensuring that all children are engaged and supervised at all times. Maintain a safe, clean, and organised environment that meets health and safety standards. Observe and assess children's progress, documenting their development in line with early years frameworks. Collaborate with team members to share best practices and enhance the nursery experience. Drive initiatives that support children's emotional, social, and cognitive growth.

Requirements

Relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Education or Childcare are essential. Experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting is highly desirable. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Ability to manage groups of children effectively while maintaining a positive atmosphere. Leadership qualities that inspire confidence in both children and colleagues. A genuine passion for childcare and commitment to fostering children's development. A valid driving licence is advantageous but not mandatory.

Pay: 26,000.00-28,000.00 per year
