You will play an important role in supporting children's learning, development, and wellbeing within a nurturing and stimulating environment.
Duties
Support the daily routines and activities within the nursery room, ensuring a safe, caring, and engaging environment.
Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development in line with the EYFS framework.
Work closely with colleagues to maintain a positive, supportive, and inclusive atmosphere for all children.
Build strong, professional relationships with parents and carers, sharing information about their child's day, progress, and wellbeing.
Ensure all health, safety, and safeguarding policies are followed at all times.
Observe, assess, and record children's progress, contributing to their individual learning journeys.
Promote positive behaviour and encourage children's independence, curiosity, and confidence.
Requirements
Full and relevant
Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years Education
.
Experience working in a childcare setting with young children.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach to working with children.
Knowledge of the EYFS and child development principles.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to a supportive nursery environment.
