We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team in providing high-quality care and education for young children. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing environment that promotes the development and well-being of each child in our care.
Responsibilities
Plan and implement engaging educational activities that cater to the developmental needs of children aged 0-5 years.
Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their social, emotional, and cognitive development.
Manage daily routines, ensuring a safe and stimulating environment for all children.
Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers regarding children's progress and any concerns.
Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive team environment that supports the nursery's objectives.
Maintain accurate records of children's development and learning outcomes.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, safeguarding policies, and nursery standards.
Drive initiatives that promote inclusivity and diversity within the nursery setting.
Qualifications
A recognised qualification (Level 2 or 3) in Early Childhood Education or Childcare is essential.
Previous experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting is highly desirable.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to engage with children, parents, and colleagues.
A genuine passion for childcare and the ability to build trusting relationships with children and families.
Ability to drive is advantageous for attending off-site activities or training sessions.
