42.5 hours per week




Monday - Friday, All year round




Cherrygrove Nursery is a warm and welcoming setting located in High Wycombe, just a short distance from the town center and with easy access to the M40. Rated Good by Ofsted, the nursery offers three age-specific rooms, each with its own garden area, where children can explore and enjoy the outdoors.


We are currently seeking a dedicated Room Leader to join our team. This full-time position offers 42.5 hours per week, with flexible shift patterns between the nursery's operating hours of 7:30 AM and 6:30 PM. As the nursery operates year-round, this is not a term-time only role. The salary for this position is up to 28,752.10 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.

As Nursery Practitioner, you will:




Ensure that each child's individual needs are met and a high standard of professional care and education is delivered in a caring, safe and secure environment in which all children can play, learn and develop Observe, assess and plan an interesting, stimulating and challenging range of early years activities which supports each child's individual learning and development needs and abilities Engage as a professional member of the team, exhibiting a flexible attitude and willingness to develop new skills Ensure that company policies and procedures are read, applied, reviewed regularly and adhered to by all Follow risk assessments diligently and report all health and safety matters to management Enhance the all-around daily needs of children, including their physical, intellectual, social and emotional development
