Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and a commitment to providing a safe, stimulating, and supportive environment for young children. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in the development and well-being of children in our care, fostering their growth through engaging activities and individualized attention.

Responsibilities

Create and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote physical, emotional, and social development. Supervise children's playtime, ensuring safety and encouraging positive interactions among peers. Establish strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to foster a supportive community. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming nursery environment. Observe and assess children's progress, documenting developmental milestones and communicating findings with parents. Collaborate with other staff members to plan and execute special events or programs. Adhere to all health and safety regulations while promoting hygiene practices among children.

Qualifications

Previous experience working with young children in a nursery or childcare setting is preferred. A relevant qualification in Early Childhood Education or Child Development is highly desirable. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with children and parents. Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with young children. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated. Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
