We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in childcare and early childhood education, demonstrating the ability to create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children. This role requires effective communication skills and the ability to manage children's needs while promoting their development through engaging activities.
Responsibilities
Provide high-quality care and education for children in the nursery setting.
Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
Foster a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for all children.
Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records of their development.
Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure the smooth running of the nursery.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the nursery space.
Experience
Previous experience in childcare or nursery settings is essential.
A qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent is highly desirable.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage groups of children effectively.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
A valid driving licence is advantageous for potential outings or transport needs.
