Job Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to young children in a nurturing environment. You will play a crucial role in supporting children's development, fostering their curiosity, and ensuring their safety and well-being while promoting a positive learning experience.

Responsibilities



Create and implement engaging educational activities that promote children's development Observe and assess children's progress, documenting their achievements Provide an inclusive, and stimulating environment for all children. Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to support effective communication and collaboration. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the nursery space to ensure a healthy and safe environment at all times. Communicate with team members to provide the best care for the children Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education such as completing Noodle Now courses, other training courses and attending regular staff meetings outside of opening hours. Ensure that all key worker responsibilites are met on a daily basis as the candicate will be a key worker.

Requirements



A relevant qualification in Early Childhood Education or Child Development is essential. Previous experience working with young children in a nursery or similar setting is highly desirable. Strong understanding of child development principles and early learning frameworks. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with children and families. Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for nurturing children's growth and learning. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated. Key worker experience is desirable however in house training can be provided Commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy environment for all children. Pay: From 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week
