We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to children in a nurturing environment. You will play a crucial part in fostering the development of young children, ensuring their safety and well-being while promoting their social, emotional, and educational growth. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a genuine drive to manage and support children's learning experiences.

Responsibilities

Create a safe, stimulating, and engaging environment for children aged 0-5 years. Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development. Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records of their development. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the smooth running of the nursery and adherence to policies and procedures. Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the nursery setting. Support children in developing positive relationships with peers and adults.

Experience

A minimum of 2 years previous experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is essential. NVQ Level 3 in Childcare, or equivalent is essential Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their development.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 15,238.08-20,317.44 per year
