Early Years Educator

to join our state-of-the-art facility in Marylebone. This is a fantastic opportunity to help shape the future of early childhood education while working in a vibrant, innovative environment.

Responsibilities



Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that foster children's physical, emotional, and intellectual growth, aligned with the EYFS framework and Odyssey's educational philosophy. Create and maintain a safe, engaging, and stimulating learning environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and independent learning. Take on the role of Key Person, building trusting relationships with children and their families, and ensuring each child's needs are met. Lead daily routines, including mealtimes, play, and rest, ensuring a nurturing and supportive atmosphere for all children. Observe and assess children's development, using insights to tailor activities and ensure each child's progress is celebrated. Foster a positive and inclusive environment, promoting diversity and ensuring all children feel valued and supported. Collaborate with team members to design and maintain a learning environment that inspires growth and development. Engage with families through regular communication, keeping them informed and involved in their child's journey. Participate in professional development opportunities, sharing insights and supporting the growth of your team. Ensure compliance with safeguarding and health & safety standards, always maintaining a safe environment for children.

Who We're Looking For:



Qualified Early Years Practitioner (Level 3 or above) with experience in early childhood education.

Strong understanding of child development, including the EYFS framework and pedagogical practices.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children, families, and colleagues.

Organised and detail-oriented, capable of managing daily routines and ensuring high-quality care.

Passionate about early years education, bringing creativity and enthusiasm to every aspect of the role.

Experience working with young children and supporting diverse needs, including additional support for those with extra needs.

Team player, with the ability to collaborate, support, and learn from your colleagues.

Experience in mentoring and guiding less experienced team members.
