Job Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow. Your leadership and communication skills will be essential in managing daily activities and fostering positive relationships with both children and their families.

Responsibilities



Provide high-quality care and education to children in the nursery setting. Plan and implement engaging activities that promote learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure a supportive community atmosphere. Observe and assess children's progress, documenting their development and sharing insights with parents. Manage daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and play sessions, ensuring all health and safety regulations are followed. Drive initiatives that encourage children's social skills, emotional well-being, and physical development. Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive team environment focused on the best outcomes for children.

Skills



Strong background in childcare with experience working with young children. Excellent leadership abilities to guide and support both children and fellow practitioners. Effective communication skills to interact positively with children, parents, and colleagues. Knowledge of early childhood education principles, particularly the EYFS framework. Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a calm and organised environment. Proficiency in English is essential for effective communication within the nursery setting. A valid driving licence is preferred but not mandatory for this role.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 30,000.00-31,000.00 per year
