Level 3 Nursery Practitioner

Responsibilities

Create and implement engaging educational activities that promote children's learning and development. Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in the nursery at all times. Observe and assess children's progress, documenting their achievements and areas for improvement. Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their social skills and emotional development. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress, behaviour, and any concerns. Collaborate with other staff members to maintain a harmonious working environment. Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities. Manage classroom behaviour effectively, promoting respect and cooperation among children. Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the nursery space.

What We're Looking For:

Minimum 2 years' experience

in an early years setting

Level 3 childcare qualification

(full and relevant)

DBS on the update service

(or willing to obtain)

Paediatric First Aid certificate

(or willing to complete)

Food Safety & Allergy Awareness

training (or willing to complete)

Strong safeguarding knowledge

Strong understanding of the EYFS

A caring, creative, and enthusiastic personality
