We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery practitioner to join our 'outstanding' team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the daily operations of the younger children's room, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children. You will be part of a small team of childcare professionals, promoting a love of learning. The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in early childhood education.

Duties

Support the daily activities within the nursery room, ensuring adherence to safety and educational standards. Take part in the planning and implementation of engaging activities that promote children's physical, emotional, and social development. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their children's progress and any concerns that may arise. Work as part of a team, including providing guidance and support to enhance colleague's skills. Maintain a clean and organised environment that is conducive to learning and play. Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their independence and self-esteem.

Qualifications

Proven experience in childcare or early childhood education is essential. Ability to work as part of a team effectively. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. A genuine passion for working with children and understanding their developmental needs. Knowledge of nursery practices and early childhood education principles. Ability to drive initiatives that enhance children's learning experiences. A relevant qualification in early childhood education or equivalent is mandatory.
