Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. This role involves managing the daily activities within the nursery, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for all children. You will play a crucial role in their development, fostering their learning through engaging activities and effective communication.

Duties

Manage and supervise daily nursery operations, ensuring the safety and well-being of all children. Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote physical, emotional, and social development. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships and support children's learning. Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents on their development. Maintain a clean, organised, and stimulating environment that encourages exploration and creativity. Collaborate with team members to ensure high standards of care and education are met. Drive initiatives that promote inclusive practices within the nursery setting.

Qualifications

Relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Education or Childcare are essential. Experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. A genuine passion for nurturing children's growth and development. Ability to drive initiatives that enhance the learning experience for all children.
