We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioners to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow. Your ability to communicate effectively, manage daily activities, and demonstrate leadership will be essential in fostering positive relationships with both children and their families.
Responsibilities
Provide high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5 years in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
Create engaging and age-appropriate activities that promote learning through play.
Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure a collaborative approach to childcare.
Attending parents evenings, staff meetings.
Manage daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and outdoor play, ensuring the safety and well-being of all children.
Observe and assess children's development, maintaining accurate records of their progress.
Foster an inclusive environment that respects diversity and promotes equality among all children.
Lead by example, demonstrating professionalism and a commitment to continuous improvement in childcare practices.
Requirements
Relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Education or Childcare are essential.
Level 3 in Early Years or above.
Safeguarding level 2
First Aid certificate.
Being a key person.
Previous experience working with young children in a nursery or childcare setting is highly desirable.
Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
A proactive drive to engage with children and support their individual needs.
Experience in observations, planning, and assessment.
Working with parents, other professionals.
A genuine passion for nurturing children's development through play-based learning experiences.
