We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join our team. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development and well-being of children, ensuring their safety and happiness while fostering their learning through play.
Duties
Create and implement engaging educational activities that promote learning through play.
Provide a safe, caring, and stimulating environment for children aged 0-5 years.
Observe and assess children's development, maintaining accurate records of their progress.
Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships.
Manage daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and outdoor play.
Support children in developing social skills and emotional resilience.
Lead by example, demonstrating positive behaviour and encouraging good manners among children.
Collaborate with other staff members to ensure the nursery runs smoothly and efficiently.
Qualifications
A qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent is essential.
Experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is highly desirable.
Strong communication skills in English to effectively interact with children and parents..
Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
A genuine love for working with young children and supporting their development.
