Role Summary:

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dedicated nursery team as a Nursery Practitioner. You'll be supporting children's learning, development, and wellbeing through creative activities and a nurturing environment.

Main Duties:

Deliver high-quality early years care and education to children aged 0-5 years. Plan and provide a variety of activities to promote children's curiosity and independence. Observe and track children's progress, ensuring individual needs are met. Build trusting relationships with children and their families, offering regular updates and support. Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a positive, professional team culture. Follow safeguarding procedures and ensure a safe, clean environment for children. Be an active part of daily routines, including mealtimes, sleep routines, and outdoor play.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare (or equivalent). Previous experience working in a nursery or childcare setting is desirable. Strong knowledge of the EYFS and an understanding of how young children learn. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A caring and positive approach, with a genuine passion for supporting children's growth. Ability to work well as part of a team and take initiative when needed.
