Overview

An established and friendly nursery is seeking a Level 3 qualified Nursery Practitioner to join the team in the Over 2's Room. This full-time, all-year-round role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with toddlers and pre-schoolers, and is committed to providing a high standard of care and learning in a stimulating environment.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate activities for children aged 2-5 Support the learning and development of each child in line with the EYFS framework Observe, assess, and record children's progress accurately Maintain a positive, inclusive, and safe environment for all children Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure consistent, high-quality provision Build strong relationships with children and families, promoting effective communication

Requirements

Level 3 qualification in Early Years Childcare (e.g. CACHE, NVQ, or equivalent) - essential*
Minimum of 1 year's experience in a nursery setting - essential*
Experience working specifically with children aged 2+ - preferred*
Sound knowledge of the EYFS and safeguarding procedures Excellent teamwork, communication, and organisational skills
