Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nursery Practitioner to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for supporting young children's development and creating a nurturing, safe, and engaging environment. Duties



Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning, social skills, and emotional development for children from infants to preschoolers. Provide attentive care including feeding, diapering, and ensuring the safety of children at all times. Support children's individual needs, including those with disabilities or special educational requirements. Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning. Observe and document children's progress, communicating effectively with parents and guardians about their child's development. Assist with daily routines such as nap times, outdoor play, and meal times to ensure a smooth daily schedule. Implement behavior management strategies that promote positive behavior and social interactions among children. Adhere to health and safety regulations, including first aid procedures when necessary. Collaborate with colleagues to plan curriculum activities and ensure consistency in caregiving practices.

Requirements



Proven experience working with children in settings such as daycare, preschool, or babysitting roles. Knowledge of childhood development principles and classroom management techniques. Experience with infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children is highly desirable. Certifications in first aid are preferred; willingness to obtain if not already certified. Background in special education or working with children with disabilities is a plus. Strong communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and team members. Ability to create a caring, inclusive environment that supports diverse needs. Previous experience in caregiving roles such as nannying or babysitting will be considered valuable. Pay: 24,420.00-34,656.18 per year
