Job Description

Tiger Cubs Day Nursery are looking for a Nursery Practitioner to join our team, the successful applicant will be a motivated and enthusiastic individual with the ability to use their own initiative working 30 hours per week, across a rota, 40 weeks per year.

The main duties of the role include:

Ensuring the children are cared for in a happy, safe and stimulating environment.

Working in partnership with parents and also fellow colleagues.

Maintaining child development and observation records.

Following and implementing all policies and procedures set out by the nursery.

Ensuring the key person approach is fully instilled in every day practice.

The successful candidates must hold a full and relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare qualification. For details of these qualifications please use the following link: Early years qualifications list: UK only - GOV.UK

Applicants will need to demonstrate some recent experience in a child care setting which can be referenced and able to demonstrate their knowledge of the developmental and learning needs of young children. You will also need to be a positive role-model to colleagues, students and visitors to the nursery.
