We are seeking a dedicated Nursery Practitioner to join our team at Pennies Day Nursery in Bearsted. In this role, you will play a crucial part in fostering a nurturing environment that supports children's development and well-being. Your contributions will directly impact our mission to provide outstanding childcare.

Responsibilities

Create a safe and engaging learning environment for children. Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote development. Observe and assess children's progress and adapt activities accordingly. Collaborate with parents to support children's learning at home. Maintain accurate records of children's development and daily activities. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Work as part of a team to create a positive atmosphere in the nursery. Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

Relevant qualifications in early childhood education or childcare (e.g., Level 2 or Level 3). Experience working with children in a nursery setting. Strong understanding of child development principles. Excellent communication skills to engage with children and parents. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. Passion for providing high-quality care and education for young children.
