Responsibilities and Duties

Being involved in developing and delivering high quality, stimulating, creative and welcoming environment for the children within the nursery. Be responsible for the planning and implementation of activities relevant to the age/stage of development of the children in their care. Working with the EYFS and completing online journals/ observations/ assessments for your key children. Supporting room leaders in every day running of the room. Building good working relationships with children, staff and parents. To provide a range of activities relevant to the age and needs of the children in the setting, which encourage independence, self-motivation, and eagerness to learn. Promote good hygiene practices. Follow Safeguarding and Welfare Requirements guidelines set by Ofsted Attending regular supervision and training as agreed with the nursery manager/Owner and have a willingness to continue your own professional development. Maintaining confidentiality at all times.
About you

Hold a relevant Early Years Qualification Have a good knowledge and understanding of safeguarding duties, nursery procedures and policies Have good knowledge of birth to 5 development and the EYFS curriculum Have excellent organisational and time management skills Demonstrate an up-to-date knowledge in Early Years and have full understanding of children's emotional, physical, psychological and educational developmental needs A positive attitude with an unwavering commitment to service excellence to allow us to maintain our high standards Be able to work as a team Have a professional attitude and manner
