Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team, you will be working in the baby room with children age 12 weeks-2 years old. The ideal candidate will have a background in childcare and early childhood education, demonstrating the ability to care for a group of babies in a nurturing and stimulating environment. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development and well-being of babies, ensuring they receive the highest standard of care and education.

Duties

Provide high-quality care for children aged 12 weeks-2 years, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Plan and implement engaging educational activities that promote learning through play. Communicate effectively with babies, parents, and colleagues to foster a supportive community. Manage daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and play activities. Observe and assess babies progress, documenting their development in line with early years frameworks. Collaborate with other staff members to create a positive nursery environment that encourages exploration and creativity. Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the nursery setting. Drive initiatives that enhance babies learning experiences while ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

Relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Education or equivalent experience in childcare settings. Proven experience working with babies in a nursery or similar environment. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development. Ability to drive is desirable but not essential.
