Job Overview

We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioners to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a strong commitment to providing high-quality care and education in a nurturing environment. This role involves supporting the daily activities of the nursery, ensuring the safety and well-being of the children, and fostering their development through engaging and educational play.

Qualified and unqualified practitioners will be considered with full training to recognised standard being offered to passionate individuals.

Responsibilities

Assist in the planning and implementation of age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development. Supervise and engage with children during playtime, ensuring a safe and stimulating environment. Support children's emotional and social development by encouraging positive interactions. Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the nursery, including toys and learning materials. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress and daily activities. Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive team environment. Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance skills in early childhood education.

Experience

Previous experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is a preference but full training will be given to the right candidate. A background in early childhood education or relevant qualifications would be advantageous. Excellent communication skills, particularly in English, to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues. Pay: 12.21-13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
