Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the development and well-being of young children.

Duties

Provide high-quality care and education to children in the nursery setting. Plan and implement engaging activities that support children's learning and development. Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their social, emotional, and cognitive growth. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress and well-being. Manage daily routines, ensuring that all health and safety standards are met. Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive team environment focused on the best interests of the children. Maintain accurate records of children's development and learning outcomes.

Skills

Strong leadership abilities to guide and inspire both children and colleagues. Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices. Experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, particularly in English. Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a calm and organised environment. A genuine passion for childcare, with the ability to drive children's learning through play-based activities.
