What You'll Be Doing:
As a Nursery Practitioner, you'll play a key role in delivering engaging, child-led learning experiences while supporting children's individual development. You'll work closely with your team to maintain a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment.
Key responsibilities:
Supporting the daily care and development of children in your room
Building strong, positive relationships with children and their families
Observing, planning, and assessing children's progress in line with the EYFS
Maintaining a stimulating and safe environment, indoors and outdoors
Acting as a key person for allocated children, ensuring their needs are met
Assisting with room setup, activities, and routines
Supporting unqualified staff and students where required
Maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and safeguarding
What We're Looking For:
A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years (or equivalent)
A genuine passion for working with young children
Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding standards
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
A positive, can-do attitude and a caring nature
Previous experience in a nursery or childcare setting (preferred)
