Someone with a good understanding of the EYFS framework and how to put it into practice.
Someone who's warm, energetic, and genuinely enjoys working with children.
A minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Early Years.
Belief in each child's unique potential and a commitment to helping them grow.
A strong team player who contributes positively to a supportive work environment.
Show integrity, professionalism, and a caring attitude at all times.
Ability to build warm, professional relationships with both colleagues and families, creating a strong sense of community within the nursery.
Duties
To effectively deliver the EYFS ensuring that the individual needs and interest of children in the setting are met.
Plan and implement engaging activities that support children's learning and development.
To develop and maintain strong partnerships and communication with parents/carers to facilitate day-to-day caring and needs of the children.
Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive team atmosphere.
Provide high-quality childcare in a safe and stimulating environment.
Manage daily routines, ensuring that all children receive appropriate care and attention.
Flexible within working practices of the setting, undertaking other responsible duties such as cleaning of area and equipment.
Uphold the nursery's policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Drive continuous improvement in the nursery's practices.
Skills
Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education
Early childhood education qualification is essential.
Previous experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting is essential.
Strong leadership abilities to guide and inspire young learners.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with children and adults.
A proactive approach with the drive to enhance children's learning experiences.
Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining a calm and organised environment.
