Job Summary


We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow. Your management and leadership skills will be essential in guiding both the children and your colleagues.

Responsibilities



Provide high-quality care and education for children aged 0-5 years, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Plan and implement engaging activities that promote learning through play, fostering children's physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development. Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development, communicating effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's achievements. Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive team environment that encourages professional growth and development. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and policies related to childcare and early years education. Support the management team in maintaining the nursery's high standards of care and education. Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities as required.

Qualifications



Proven experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is essential. A qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent is highly desirable. Strong management and leadership skills to effectively guide both children and staff members. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to engage with children, parents, and colleagues effectively. A valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate travel if necessary. A genuine passion for childcare, with the ability to create a warm and welcoming environment for all children.
