Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for children, ensuring their safety and well-being while promoting their development through engaging activities.

Duties

Provide high-quality childcare in a safe and welcoming nursery setting. Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development. Manage daily routines, including meal times, playtime, and nap times, ensuring that each child's needs are met. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster positive relationships. Observe and assess children's progress, documenting their development and sharing insights with parents. Maintain a clean and organised environment that encourages exploration and creativity. Drive initiatives that enhance the nursery's educational programmes and overall experience for children. Exhibit strong leadership skills by guiding junior staff and supporting their professional growth.

Experience

.

A relevant level 3 qualification in Childcare and Education is essential. Proven ability to manage groups of children effectively while maintaining a positive atmosphere. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to interact with children, parents, and staff members. Experience working with diverse groups of children is an advantage.
