Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic level 2 or 3 Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a strong background in early childhood education. This role involves providing high-quality care and education to children, fostering their development in a safe and nurturing environment. The Nursery Practitioner will work collaboratively with colleagues to create engaging learning experiences that promote children's growth and well-being.

Duties

Deliver exceptional childcare in accordance with the nursery's policies and procedures. Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that stimulate children's physical, emotional, social, and intellectual development. Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for children at all times. Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication. Observe and assess children's progress, keeping accurate records of their development. Support the management team in maintaining high standards of care and education within the nursery. Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations as well as safeguarding policies.

Experience

Proven experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting is essential. A qualification in Early Childhood Education or Childcare is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills in English to engage with children, parents, and staff members. A valid driving licence is advantageous for potential outings or activities outside the nursery setting.
