Job Description
1:1 support in Pre-School for a child with Autism
Provide one-on-one support to a child with special educational needs, both inside and outside the pre school room.
Adapt activities and resources to accommodate their learning style and abilities.
Help with their personal care needs, if required.
Monitor and record their progress, providing feedback to the staff, Senco and parents/guardians.
Collaborate with the nursery SENCO and other professionals, such as speech and language therapists or inclusion teacher to implement specific strategies and interventions. As well as attend TAF meetings.
Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters the social and emotional well-being of the child.
Encourage their independence and self-confidence through targeted support and encouragement.
Attend relevant training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance your knowledge and skills in working with children with special educational needs.
Monday-Friday24 hours (Working; Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday) With the potential of the hours increasing. 9am-3pm
Pay depends on age, it's minimum wage.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: Up to 12.21 per hour
