Job Description

Hazelwood School Nursery are expanding with a new 2-3's room and so we are looking for a skilled and ideally level 2 or 3 qualified Nursery Practitioner to work in a room that suits your skillset in central Oxted. Our Nursery is open for 50 weeks of the year and, working alongside our Room Leader and Senior Practitioner, you will:

Hold a minimum level 2 or 3 in childcare or undertake training to complete (which we can provide).

Have an excellent understanding of the EYFS and child development.

Have a passion for education and the ability to plan for children's development.

Work well as a team member.

Be a key person to a group of children, observing and planning activities for your key children.

The closing date will remain open until the position is filled, so early application is advised. We are looking for candidates to start from 30th July or sooner to onboard prior to the start of the 2025-26 academic year starting in September.

Hours of work - 42.5 hours per week on a rota basis (paid 40 hours per week).
