As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow. You will be responsible for managing daily activities, fostering positive relationships with children, and supporting their developmental needs.
Duties
Plan and implement engaging educational activities that promote children's physical, emotional, and social development.
Manage the daily routines of the nursery, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all children.
Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster strong relationships and support children's learning.
Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and adapting activities to meet individual needs.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the nursery space, ensuring all health and safety standards are met.
Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive team environment that supports children's wellbeing.
Drive initiatives that enhance the nursery's educational offerings while demonstrating leadership in your role.
Experience
Previous experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting is essential.
A qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent is highly desirable.
Strong communication skills in English are required to effectively engage with children and families.
Demonstrated ability to manage groups of children while maintaining a positive learning atmosphere.
Leadership skills that inspire teamwork and collaboration among staff members.
