Job Description
The Pepperbox Nursery is a 48 place nursery that is open 51 weeks of the year providing high quality child care to children from 3 months to 5 years.
We now have a fixed term position for a level 3 nursery practitioner to cover maternity leave.

Responsibilities
Provide high-quality care and education to children in a nursery setting, ensuring their safety and well-being. Plan and implement engaging activities that promote early childhood development and learning. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster a supportive environment. Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development. Collaborate with the team to manage daily operations and uphold nursery standards. Support leadership in mentoring junior staff and contributing to a positive team dynamic.
The successful candidate must hold a level 3 certificate in Early Years and Childcare, and be available to work between the hours of 8.00 and 18.15, all year round.
The position requires an enhanced DBS check to be carried out.
Appointment will require satisfactory DBS checks and references
Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: From 13.30 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
