Job Summary

New Room opening soon @ Natures Nursery Barn We are seeking dedicated and passionate level 3 Nursery Practitioners to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. This role involves creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow. You will be responsible for managing daily activities, ensuring the wellbeing of each child, and fostering their development through engaging educational experiences.

Responsibilities

Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure a collaborative nursery environment. Manage daily routines and activities, ensuring that all children receive appropriate care and attention. Provide high-quality childcare by planning and implementing age-appropriate educational activities that promote learning and development. Observe and assess children's progress, documenting their achievements and areas for improvement. Foster positive relationships with children to encourage their social, emotional, and cognitive development. Maintain a clean, safe, and organised nursery space that meets health and safety standards. Collaborate with other staff members to support the overall objectives of the nursery. Engage in continuous professional development to enhance your skills in early childhood education.

Experience

Previous experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting is essential. A qualification in Early Childhood Education or Childcare is highly desirable. Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate young learners. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. A valid driving licence is advantageous but not mandatory.
