We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursery Practitioner to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children, supporting their developmental needs through engaging activities and attentive care. Responsibilities
Provide high-quality care and supervision for children in the nursery setting, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.
Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development.
Ensure the safety and well-being of all children by adhering to health and safety regulations and best practices.
Support children's individual needs, including those with disabilities or special educational requirements.
Maintain accurate records of children's progress and daily routines.
Foster positive behavior management strategies to encourage good conduct and social skills.
Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate children's progress and address any concerns.
Assist with classroom organization, cleanliness, and maintaining a welcoming environment.
Administer first aid when necessary and respond appropriately to emergencies or health issues.
Qualifications
Experience working with children in settings such as daycare, preschool, or nannying is highly desirable.
Knowledge of childhood development principles, early childhood education practices, and classroom management techniques.
Certifications in first aid are preferred; willingness to obtain if not already certified.
Experience working with children with disabilities or special educational needs is a plus.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with children, parents, and team members.
Demonstrated caregiving abilities with patience, compassion, and professionalism.
