We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to foster a nurturing environment that supports the development of young minds. The Nursery Practitioner will play a key role in creating engaging learning experiences that promote growth, creativity, and social skills.
Responsibilities
Provide high-quality care and education for children aged 0-5 years in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
Plan and implement engaging activities that stimulate children's learning and development.
Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to create a supportive community.
Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records to track their development.
Ensure the nursery environment is safe, clean, and conducive to learning.
Collaborate with team members to maintain high standards of care and education.
Support children's emotional well-being by providing guidance and encouragement.
Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
Proven experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is essential.
A qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent is preferred.
Strong management and leadership skills to effectively guide activities and support team members.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English.
Ability to drive is advantageous for potential off-site activities or training sessions.
A genuine passion for childcare and commitment to fostering children's development.
