We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for children, fostering their development and learning through play and structured activities.

Responsibilities

Manage daily nursery operations, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all children. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships and support children's emotional well-being. Plan and implement engaging activities that promote learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records to inform planning and support individual needs. Provide leadership within the nursery setting, guiding less experienced staff and promoting best practices in childcare. Drive initiatives that enhance the quality of care and education provided within the nursery. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and safeguarding policies at all times.

Requirements

Relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Education or Childcare are essential. Experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting is highly desirable. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with children, parents, and staff. Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a calm and positive attitude. A genuine passion for nurturing children's growth and development through play-based learning. Leadership qualities that inspire teamwork and collaboration among staff members.
