We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our clients nursery. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children, supporting their developmental needs through engaging activities and personalised care. This role offers an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact on children's lives while working within a supportive and professional setting. The Nursery Practitioner will be expected to demonstrate strong management and leadership skills, ensuring high standards of childcare are maintained at all times.

Responsibilities



Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning, development, and socialisation among children Supervise children during play, meal times, nap times, and outdoor activities to ensure their safety and well-being Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication Maintain accurate records of children's progress and daily routines in line with nursery policies Ensure the nursery environment remains clean, safe, and welcoming at all times Support new staff members through mentoring and guidance to promote a cohesive team environment Manage daily operational tasks including organising resources and preparing learning materials Uphold health and safety regulations in accordance with local authority guidelines Drive nursery vehicles when required for outings or transportation of children (if applicable)

Requirements



Experience working with children in a nursery or early childhood education setting Strong management and leadership skills to oversee daily operations effectively Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written Childcare qualification such as NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent recognised qualification Knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education best practices Ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and team members Organised with good time-management skills to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently Valid driving licence is desirable for transporting children or attending off-site activities A caring attitude combined with professionalism and patience in all interactions
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 26,000.00-28,000.00 per year

Work Location: In person
