Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow. Your ability to communicate effectively with both children and parents will be essential in fostering positive relationships within our nursery.

Responsibilities



Provide high-quality childcare and support the development of children aged 0-5 years. Plan and implement engaging educational activities that promote learning through play. Observe and assess children's progress, ensuring their individual needs are met. Maintain a safe, clean, and organised nursery environment. Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers regarding children's development and wellbeing. Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a positive team atmosphere. Manage daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and outdoor play. Drive initiatives that promote children's health, safety, and emotional wellbeing.

Requirements



Relevant level 3 qualification in Early Childhood Education or Childcare. Experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting is preferred. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Ability to manage groups of children effectively while ensuring their safety. Leadership qualities to inspire and guide less experienced staff members. A genuine passion for childcare and the ability to build rapport with children and families. Flexibility to adapt to the changing needs of the nursery environment.

Pay: 26,000.00-28,000.00 per year
